# Online geluiden
## Hoe online geluiden werken

Online geluiden zijn alleen compatibel met MuseScore Studio versie 4.6 en hoger. Het wordt sterk aanbevolen om de nieuwste beschikbare versie te gebruiken voor optimale prestaties. Deze functie is momenteel alleen beschikbaar voor Windows en macOS.

Online geluiden zijn geluidsbibliotheken die je notatiegegevens op een externe server verwerken voordat ze de audio terugsturen naar MuseScore Studio. Dit zorgt voor een realistischere, contextbewuste weergave. De functie kan ook tekstinformatie zoals liedteksten herkennen, waardoor het mogelijk is om liedteksten met woorden te 'zingen'.
## Hoe stel je online geluiden in
To setup online sounds in MuseScore Studio, you'll first need to install a sound library from MuseHub that supports online processing.

Vanaf december 2025 is \*\*Cantai\*\* van Turing Opera Workshop de enige geluidsbibliotheek in MuseHub die online geluiden in MuseScore Studio ondersteunt. Andere geluidsbibliotheken en leveranciers zullen in de loop der tijd geleidelijk aan MuseHub worden toegevoegd.

To install Cantai, please ensure all instances of MuseScore Studio are closed.
1. Zorg ervoor dat je de nieuwste versie van MuseHub gebruikt (als je MuseHub nog niet hebt, kun je het gratis downloaden via [musehub.com](https://www.musehub.com/)).
2. Zoek naar Cantai of vind het op de MuseSounds-pagina.
3. Install Cantai by clicking on the purple **Install** or **Download** buttons
Zodra Cantai is geïnstalleerd:
1. Start MuseScore Studio op
2. Open de [Mixer](/nl/sound-and-playback/mixer.md).
3. Ga naar de **Geluid** kiezer en zoek naar **Cantai** in het **MuseSounds** menu.
4. Kies een zanger/stemtype
Er verschijnt een nieuwe indicator in de statusbalk onderaan het app-venster, die aangeeft wanneer je notatie online wordt verwerkt en wanneer ze klaar zijn om afgespeeld te worden.
## Online geluiden gebruiken
Standaard wordt de notatie periodiek op de achtergrond verwerkt terwijl je werkt. Dit gebeurt elke paar seconden, zodra je stopt met het invoeren of bewerken van notatie.
A flashing purple bar appears above the regions of notation being processed. If a region hasn't yet finished processing, a piano sound will be substituted during playback.
### Online geluidsverwerking aanpassen
Apart from the default automatic processing option, you can choose to see the flashing purple bar less frequently (i.e. only during playback) and you can even take full manual control over when processing occurs.
Om te wijzigen wanneer de paarse voortgangsbalk verschijnt:
1. Open [Voorkeuren](/nl/customization/preferences.md).
2. Ga naar **Audio & MIDI**.
3. Scroll naar beneden naar **Online geluiden**.
4. Klik op het keuzemenu naast **Toon verwerkingsvoortgang**.
* Kies **Alleen als verwerken nog niet klaar is tijdens het afspelen** om de paarse voortgangsbalk boven de onverwerkte gebieden te zien *alleen na het indrukken van **speel af***.
* Kies **Nooit** om online geluiden automatisch op de achtergrond te laten verwerken zonder dat de paarse verwerkingsbalk wordt weergegeven.
Om handmatige controle over de verwerking mogelijk te maken:
1. Open [Voorkeuren](/nl/customization/preferences.md).
2. Ga naar **Audio & MIDI**.
3. Scroll naar beneden naar **Online geluiden**.
4. Schakel de optie **Verwerk online geluiden automatisch op de achtergrond** uit.
The processing indicator in the status bar turns into a button. Click this button at any time to process online sounds.

Handmatige verwerking kan de kans verkleinen dat de door online geluidsbibliotheekaanbieders ingestelde limieten voor gegevensverwerking worden overschreden. Het kan ook handig zijn bij het gebruik van mobiele data of bij een onbetrouwbare internetverbinding.

### Verwerkte audio cachen en resetten
MuseScore Studio stores your processed audio in a system cache on your computer. This means that notation that's already been processed won't need to be *re-processed* unless you make a change to it. It also allows you to continue hearing your processed audio without an internet connection (although note that any changes you make when offline will trigger the default piano sound to replace your processed audio until processing is able to recommence once your internet connection resumes).
Als je alle verwerkte audiobestanden die op je computer zijn opgeslagen wilt verwijderen:
1. Ga naar **Help**.
2. Klik op **Wis online-geluiden cache voor deze partituur**.
This action only affects the individual score you're working on, and will not affect scores open in other app instances at the same time.
Clearing a score's online sounds cache automatically triggers a re-processing of your notation.
### Beperkingen
#### Verwerkingslimieten
Different vendors may apply their own limitations on how much processing ('rendering') you can do from MuseScore Studio within a given timeframe. To understand a specific library's limitations, please consult the **User Guide** for the sound library in question (found in the library's product page in MuseHub).
Note that processing limits only apply to *unprocessed* notation data; notation you've already processed – and which is stored locally ('cached') on your computer – is unaffected and still available for playback, even after any processing limits are reached.

As of December 2025, \*\*Cantai\*\* includes up to 180 minutes of rendering time per week, with time resetting every Monday. Any parts of your score that have already been processed will continue to play back even after the weekly limit has been reached.
MuseScore Studio is niet verantwoordelijk voor, noch heeft het controle over, de verwerkingslimieten, maar het zal je in de app op de hoogte stellen als en wanneer je de limiet bereikt en wanneer de verwerkingsquota wordt gereset.

#### Talen

Vanaf december 2025 is \*\*Cantai\*\* beschikbaar in het Engels en Latijn. Duits, Frans, Spaans, Japans en Chinees zijn in ontwikkeling. Niet-ondersteunde talen worden mogelijk gedeeltelijk weergegeven, maar zullen waarschijnlijk niet volledig en betrouwbaar werken.
