# Vinoviivanotaatio
Jazz- ja populaarimusiikissa kohdat nuotinnetaan usein vinoviivan muotoisilla nuotinpäillä, jotka eivät osoita tiettyä sävelkorkeutta. Nuotinnus voi joko sisältää varret osoittamaan tiettyjä rytmejä, tai nuotinnus voi olla varreton ja osoittaa vain iskun.
## Filling a range with beat slashes
Vinoviivalla (iskuviiva) ei ole varsia, joten ne eivät osoita rytmiä; vain itse iskun. Sisällöstä riippuen tämä voi viitata soittajan suunnittelemaan improvisoituun sooloon ja säestyskuvioon tai ehdotukseen jatkaa aiemmin nuotinnoidun jakson tyylissä. ## Creating rhythmic slash notation

### Accompaniment rhythms on the staff
